On September 21, the third meeting of the Industrial Cooperation Subcommittee of the Regular Meeting Committee between the Chinese and Russian Prime Ministers was held in Kunming, China. The Chinese chairman of the subcommittee and Minister of Industry and Information Technology Miao Wei and the Russian chairman of the subcommittee and Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Manturov co-chaired the meeting. Vice Minister of Industry and Information Technology Wang Jiangping attended the meeting. The meeting conducted in-depth and friendly consultations on exchanges and cooperation between China and Russia in the fields of civil aviation, raw materials, equipment, radio electronics, etc., reached many cooperation consensuses, and made arrangements for the next step.
After the meeting, Miao Wei and Manturov jointly signed the minutes of the subcommittee meeting, witnessed the signing of the meeting minutes of the three working groups on civil aviation, raw materials, and equipment, and related enterprise project cooperation agreements, and signed the first China-Russia (Industrial) ) Awards were given to the winners of the innovation competition. After the meeting, the ministers of the two countries attended a press conference together.
Industrial cooperation is an important part of the China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination. With the care and support of the leaders of the two countries and under the mechanism of the Industrial Cooperation Subcommittee of the Regular Meeting Committee between the Chinese and Russian Prime Ministers, China and Russia have worked together to continuously deepen cooperation in the fields of civil aviation, raw materials, equipment, and electronic information, especially between the two sides. Active progress has been made in major strategic projects such as the joint development of long-range wide-body passenger aircraft by leveraging complementary advantages, which has enriched the China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination.
Before the subcommittee meeting, Wang Jiangping co-chaired the raw materials and civil aviation working group meeting with the Russian side.
China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Commerce, Civil Aviation Administration of China, Chinese Embassy in Russia, Yunnan Provincial Government, Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, Russian Embassy in China, as well as relevant enterprises, research institutions, associations and other units in China and Russia Nearly 260 representatives attended the meeting.
